Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy.

Last updated: 25 June 2026

1. Who we are

LDPS Africa operates the LDPS Africa Intelligence Platform™. References to ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ in this policy refer to LDPS Africa. The platform is operated from Nairobi, Kenya.

2. Data we collect

Account data (name, email, organisation), operational data you upload (KPI records, audits, feed purchases, financial entries), platform usage events, and payment metadata returned by our payment partners. We never store full card numbers — those are held by the payment processor.

3. Why we use it

To run the platform, compute KPIs and benchmarks, generate reports, deliver scheduled emails you have opted into, prevent abuse, and produce aggregated, non-identifying benchmark statistics. Aggregated benchmarks never expose any single customer’s data.

4. Legal bases

Performance of the contract you accept when subscribing; legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform; consent where you opt into marketing or research communications; and legal obligation where applicable.

5. Who we share it with

Sub-processors we use to operate the platform (managed database and hosting, transactional email, payment processors, AI inference). Each sub-processor is bound by data-processing terms. We do not sell personal data.

6. International transfers

Some sub-processors operate outside Kenya. Where data leaves Kenya we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards consistent with the Kenya Data Protection Act and applicable international frameworks.

7. Retention

Operational data is retained for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to support reactivation and legal record-keeping. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.

8. Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability — subject to the rights of others and our legal obligations. Contact privacy@ldpsafrica.com to exercise any of these rights.

9. Cookies & analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication, and a small number of first-party analytics signals to understand platform usage. Marketing-tracking cookies are not deployed unless you explicitly opt in.

10. Changes to this policy

Material changes will be announced to active subscribers by email at least 14 days before they take effect. The latest version always lives at this URL.

11. Contact

Questions, requests, or complaints: privacy@ldpsafrica.com. We respond within 30 days.
